Toronto Natasha Residences | 156.9m | 47s | Lanterra | BDP Quadrangle

Posts and beams coming out of the 263 Adelaide Street building demolition for the Natasha Residences project. Glad that these are being saved for reuse / recycle. Also a general view of the demolition working area.

Still no permits here, no stop work order either though.

Time we summoned @ProjectEnd to this thread to here in the inside skinny on this one.

(City permit application status site does not show any demolition permit issued yet though - still under review)

By the time you have to close on this, the interest rate will probably have dropped. I'm guessing closing in 2027 or 2028

From January 25 (yesterday). The Natasha project looks to be stalled at this point. Minimal if any progress since the last photo update on December 20 - five weeks ago. Mid-day yesterday there was no crew on site, it was all locked up.

Best I can tell, they continue to have zero permits in place, including demolition.

No Shoring, No Foundation, No Drain/Site Service.

There is some activity on the permits as at January 16th/24, but none are past the 'under review' stage.

Curiously, there are also not any currently issued orders against the site either.

March 18: Lanterra is setting up a sales suite (not quite open yet) on the next block to start actively marketing units in Natasha, in anticipation of the start of actual construction. There also appears to be some activity on the permit application for the new building, but not on the demolition permit itself.

Meanwhile, nothing much has changed at the site itself.
