The dark brown metal cladding on the tower portion looks decent. Better than standard glossy spandrel.

But some of the cladding on the podiums looks like it may have some oil canning.

It's certainly not good but I'm not sure I'd call it horrific... maybe bland, or "bleh". I'm not screaming and running for the hills looking at it. I actually quite like the mural that has been installed along the Gardiner.

Agreed, "Design" Haus, Strada or 401 Bay this ain't. But it does feel like the 90's are calling again...

Shame that it's so hard for pedestrians to enjoy this art (safely).

Just showing how car centric Toronto is...
I don't know, if it wasn't for the Gardiner, there would have been units on the north side and no mural at all. Not every zoning, urban design or social ill is due to the car.
