I like how we are seeing more of these 6 storey wood midrises in the suburbs. I figured this is largely what would happen with 6 storey wood - downtown projects are too structurally complicated for it generally, but you can do it out here easily. It's a good opportunity to increase suburban densities since previously developer tended to stick to 4 storey apartments as that was the most you could do with wood.

These apartment blocks provide large, affordable apartments in an area that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive for the lower end market. It's good news.
 
The solar panels at the front entrance are an interesting touch.
