Time for another M5V construction update:
The whole thing, from 15 floors up, now topping out:
Podium with candy coloured accents:
Zeroing in on the box - originally planned to house two floors worth of HVAC and be sheathed in red aluminum, it now appears that only half of the lower floor of the box will be required for the equipment, cutting the architectural exclamation mark down to the impact of a comma:

excellent photo update... gotta love those coloured glass accents! this is a pretty sharp looking building, though its quite regrettable about that boxed section losing the red cladding that was promised in the renders.

I wonder if they will clad the notch box with red cladding along the concrete, kind of like the DNA3 will with white square notches.

Based on the heavy steel framing of the balcony railing above the mechanical floor, it looks like that railing may be solid instead of glass.
So I am guessing the facade of that mechanical floor maybe still red steel cladding that continues upwards to form the railing of the new unit above (similar to a parapet).
The windows of that unit above should be different (darker or black) from the rest of the building to make that notch stand out more.

Yeah, I think they will clad the RC elements of the upper non mechanical floor of this box in the red cladding. Great suggestion Neuhaus, about changing the tint of the glazing there....
