Did you noticed there is no stop at Shoppers World and the line stopping at 407??Report going to Mississauga's General Committee on LRT stop hierarchy (starts on PDF page 26)
Perhaps Brampton will receive a report for the stops inside their municipal borders?Did you noticed there is no stop at Shoppers World and the line stopping at 407??
What a joke.
Is it a joke if that only shows Brampton's four stops?

Some pure dumb ranking and locations. Now, will see a Brampton Report on their 3 stops or can we say the LRT got kick out of Brampton 100%
Meanwhile, Brampton sticks with the omnibus.
Been absolutely zero hint/suggestion/reports that either of these would be the case.....so not sure why we would speculate on that.

I am well aware this is a Metrolinx thing, but it was started before it was by the city. The city has some say in this and expressing how I feel about it. If it was a true Metrolinx project, the loop would be remove from the plan. You keep missing the part that says this is a City of Mississauga initiative, not Metrolinx. Why would the City of Mississauga include Brampton stops in a study done by Mississauga staff, and why would Brampton be ok with Mississauga staff dictating what their stops should look like?
It has nothing to do with the planning of the line itself. Yes, Brampton is still included in that.
When asked why the information is available for Hamilton, but not Mississauga, considering the timelines, Barrasa said, “In the cases of Hamilton LRT and Hurontario LRT, Metrolinx and its municipal partners are working together to develop the conceptual design for the projects…The project teams determine when to initiate the property acquisition process.”
When the question of property acquisition was directed to the city of Mississauga, CAO Janice Baker forwarded all questions to Metrolinx.

Since there is only 3 stops in Brampton, Brampton going to be hard press not to accept Mississauga designs. Metrolinx payback for cutting the line.
One can say the way things are playing out, this line could open in phase as proposed years ago. Phase 1 407 to Sq One, Phase 2 Sq One to PC, Phase 3 to Brampton.
Metrolinx property acquisition for Mississauga LRT remains elusive
