Rust in general can have its purposes, but only when it's planned correctly. Like a rusted corrugated steel facade.

It's too bad the north tower wasn't built in its previous iteration (flat and thin). Can't say I'm pleased with its podium treatment either. Anyone in the area know how far along they're at with the streetscape of the south tower? It should provide some relief for pedestrians at the Yonge and Eglinton intersection once it's open!
