It's going to be nice not to have the tabletop skyline in this area anymore.
I don't think people understand how much this development will change the waterfront skyline


I was just thinking the same thing. Especially since the east side is going to have all these new supertalls with Pinnacle and SG2, the west side is much lower and totally flattens out so these two towers should really off set that. To bad The Well office tower was taller.
 
I thought those white bands on the cladding were supposed to come together to reveal Maple Leafs. Still not seeing it. Hmmm.

I was thinking maybe the balconies above the white bands would be a white frosted glass or something to extend the pattern and make it somewhat obvious, but i guess not?

Perhaps it's like those artworks where you have to view them at certain angles to get the picture, like the ones on the Bayview subway line, or some of the newer Spadina line stations.
