"The applicant is proposing to construct an eight-storey, mixed-use building on the subject properties. The ground floor of the building will contain public amenity space to complement the Urban Park as well as multiple commercial units. Floors two through eight will contain 75 residential dwelling units."
This one is worth noting for sure - 75 units, EIGHT parking spaces, 3 of which are accessible. Ground floor includes a community room and restrooms for the new adjacent urban park, both to be owned and operated by the City of Peterborough, and 2 retail units. Renderings show a sign that says Montreal House, although I'm not sure if that's the name of the development or their way of showing retail signage for a cafe or something.
The site fronts Aylmer and has a pub with surface parking. It also includes 216 and 220 King. The building at 220 King has been demolished and the public parking lot at 216 King has been converted into an urban plaza/square type space which is the new home of a weekly farmer's market.
