I thought I posted shots I took on Sat here, but doesn't look like it.

No Ribbon cutting on Monday unless the mayor change her mind. Was planning on going over on Sunday to see what still had to be done before the opening on Monday, but the rain roll in as I was just leaving.

Looking at Jasonzed photos, very little work was done on Sunday as plan.

Not sure how they are going to pour the sidewalk at the main entrance for Sheridan after this Roundabout opens, as there is no room for the truck to sit for the pour. Even doing the planters pouring is going to be fun.

Not sure how they are going to pour the sidewalk at the main entrance for Sheridan after this Roundabout opens, as there is no room for the truck to sit for the pour. Even doing the planters pouring is going to be fun.

Today, they closed off a portion of the roundabout to do that very thing among others...

There is now on-street parking (10 new spots) on Duke of York across the street from Sheridan...

Exactly what I was asking about a little earlier in the thread. Makes sense if the roundabout is a single lane in-out.

All we need now is for that Square One parking lot to be developed, and DoY will be a pretty urban looking street.

I was expecting the lane closer, as that was the only way crews can doing their work. The opening of the Roundabout should have been delay a week and saw no reason why it could not.

Sq One Extension should open next week as sidewalk on the south side still has to be pour. Most of the north side is finish with a few spots to be done by Friday. They could open the westbound lane on Sat, but most likely wait tell the eastbound is ready to open.

I notices a new type of streetlight for the extension today.
The new Starbucks in the north end is getting close to be open.

The mosaic tiles are finish for the main entrance.

Still a fair amount of finishing detail to be done with 2 weeks to go.

The classrooms tables and chairs are nice and something I never had when I went to the Brampton Campus in the 90's.

Nice pics!

I went to Sheridan Davis campus a few years ago and they had those chairs/tables. Very comfortable! Helps when sitting through a three hour lecture . I dunno about those multi-coloured tabletops though.

The Starbucks looks nice, and will be a nice trendy place to meet up.
