I updated my browser (opera) about an hour ago and tried to upload a photo but no dice. I just get the oops we ran into a problem message and that's it.
I haven't tried uploading with my phone, only my win11 PC

So I can take the exact same photo, save it as a PNG file in whatever the stock Windows11 photoviewer is and it will upload. If I try it as a jpeg, it fails.

Test image upload.
Like Tim, tried JPG but no go. JPG image uploads have always worked for me (Mac / Safari).
Converted to PNG and it will allow upload, but image is blank (with borders) when I Insert and does not appear until I use Preview.
Not sure if this will appear when I Post Reply....here we go....I now see it posted twice though....

I thought about using Chrome as a test but couldn't find my UT password and didn't want to reset it for essentially a one time use. Thanks for providing some additional info @TwinHuey. At least we know it doesn't seem to be browser/OS specific.
When I uploaded the PNG file, it behaved perfectly and I had the image preview, etc using Win11 and Opera browser.

2. JPEG Picture from iPhone to Lightroom, edited or unedited downloaded or exported @960x1280 to Apple photos to UT does not work
3 RAW picture or jpeg from Canon to Lightroom edited or unedited, exported or download to Apple downloaded to UT does not work.
Maybe something has changed at Lightroom?
Same using iPhone or iPad or windows laptop

I don't think it is lightroom specific since I don't use it. I literally just post the image that comes off the card with no post processing at all.

On Safari - iPhone camera jpeg 11MP 2984x3982 to 4.6 MB loaded in UT 980x1280 format earlier now it is not loading.

Having this problem as well, started Friday evening after success uploads Thursday. Thumbnails show file name but no image, and no prompt to load, and when I try the drag method from the bar at top, an error message appears any time I try to post an image.

I've had the error since Friday. The native JPG doesn't work but changing the file format to PNG (with no other changes) worked.
