The building at 50 Liberty is coming along and is obviously going to be a bar/restaurant with a really generous back patio. Also the alley running along the north side has been gussied up with a mural and was busy with people going to the TFC game. Taken 9 March.

New discussion on the proposal for a park to replace the large surface parking lot at 34 Hanna Ave (bound by Atlantic, Liberty & Hanna). They expect public engagement for the new 4,900 square-metre park to start in late 2024 or early 2025, with possibly construction after the World Cup.

Just to phrase this a bit differently; the parking lot WILL be retained until after the World Cup has concluded, then it will be available to turn into a park, subject to design readiness and funding.
