Laneway and Garden Houses (various)

This morning I came across a laneway house under construction. While there is a laneway housing thread in the design and architectural style section of the forum, that is focused on overarching policy and design issues.

I propose using this thread for photos and updates about specific laneway houses not captured by other threads. The alternative would be to create a new thread for each laneway house, but that strikes me as overkill.

Mods, please rename the thread or move the post if you see this as misguided.

Anyway, the laneway house I discovered this morning is located behind the home at 721 Windermere Avenue. Photos taken today:

From a distance down the lane, this really fits in unobtrusively:

Would hardly know what was getting built at the back from the street at the front of the lot, were it not for the permits posted in the window:

A few of the new laneway homes in the St Clair west neighbourhood. The side by side houses illustrate how nice the laneways could eventually become. I had to shoot on a wide angle lens so it doesn't quite capture how nice and intimate the space is.
