Early Toronto Suburbs In Colour--50's-60's

Such a shame that so many of the photos in this thread have gone missing; would it be possible for the original poster to put them up via an image hosting site like imgur?

I miss these great shots of the suburbs from back in the day!
 
The mindset still exists in neighbourhoods like that. A neighbourhood in Cambridge just got new curbs and sidewalks. The locals were up in arms, complaining about the city forcing them to get, and I quote, "new-fangled sidewalks." And no, that wasn't a tongue-in-cheek comment. :rolleyes:
until you live on a street like that, you can't understand that it is a non issue.....as usual someone forcing their opinion on someone elses property

The Bloor-Jane restaurant served as a bus depot at one point? Somehow, I'm surprised and not-surprised at the same time...
