Civic engagement refers to the ways in which urban citizens participate in the life of a community in order to improve conditions for others or to help shape the community's future.

Toronto has so many great examples of civic engagment - I thought this would be a great place to discuss and contribute new ideas, post about events etc.

Event: 100In1Day is a global festival of civic engagement returning to Toronto for its third year on June 4, 2016. 100In1Day is a day to turn ideas into reality all over the city by celebrating the cumulative power of small changes and celebrations.
