    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Why would they not run TRs on Line 2 again? They've certainly run them on Line 2 before, in a pinch (and Line 3 used to flash then)!

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Would those have effectively reduced GO fares? I can't see much else that would cost money or provide benefit, other than expanding the base fare ($3.70 with Presto) to encompass more (if not all) of the city.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Once the media figures out the abominably slow travel times on Finch West - so much slower than promised, the media distraction will buy Line 5 a few weeks of cover. :)

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

That it's only 15-years is concerning. Wasn't the last rehab of the slab (but not the bents) only about 10 to 15 years ago?

    TTC: Easier Access Phase III

Aren't those at the existing exit north of the CP tracks? The new entrance would be south of the existing tracks - presumably on the south side of the old North Toronto station.

Ontario Line Extension West of Ontario Place (Speculation)

I don't think that can be concluded from Official Plan Map 4. That extension from Exhibition to Dundas West is mostly a hangover from the old DRL alignment (that's still on the current Official Plan Map 4). Though that does remind one - what happened to the Fall 2025 Map 4 council...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I feel that this phase (2027-) will be worse than the last phase for traffic congestion. Isn't there work going on elsewhere in 2027 too? Etobicoke? The hybrid connection? Today I learnt that there is a Grand Magazine Street (effectively Stadium Road), and that it's different than Grand Avenue...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

I'm not sure reading the public schedule is necessarily jumping to conclusions.

Richmond Hill Yonge Line 1 North Subway Extension | Metrolinx

I think it's a desire to create mayhem as loop lines with frequent traffic don't work well, between the timing problems, and the inevitable short-turning (scheduled or not) - which is why the TfL Circle line tube is no longer a loop. Gosh, I never rode it that often, but it feels that everytime...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

If this was China, then they'd be jacking up the existing subway with bamboo, and then prosecuting all sorts of people at the intermediate level, when those in the top level (and anyone on the street) knew they were using bamboo, but afraid to say anything because of the totalitarian regime...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

It was long as well. If you look at the current list, the longest one on the entire system is only 200 metres. For the current southbound zone between Sheppard West to Wilson it's reduced from 46 km/hr to 20 km/hr; but it's only 186 metres long. And then the other one, from Yorkdale to Lawrence...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

That seems rather out of date. Here's the one they posted yesterday (Thursday) morning. Gosh, the ones at Union are new. Looks like it will be there until early December westbound and mid-December eastbound.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Mississauga mayor Carolyn Parrish doesn't expect the line to open before 2029. https://www.insauga.com/lrt-line-could-open-5-years-later-than-initially-planned-in-mississauga-mayor/ 🤣

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Regardless of how I feel? It's the correct decision, despite the pathway there.

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Like? My points are that there's little east of Quebec, and a lot more people just west of Toronto than east of Montreal. Are you being intentionally misleading?

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Hey, I'm not the one using CMA's to defend anything. I'm just pointing out the problem with using the Quebec CMA, which is much larger in area than the adjacent Hamilton/KW one combined, with far less people. And that there's nothing nearby to the east.

Alto - High Speed Rail (Toronto-Quebec City)

Perhaps because the Quebec CMA is 3,500 m² with only 840,000 people, while the adjacent Hamilton and KW are only about a combined 2,500 m² with 1,350,000 people. (and another 1,400,000 in London/Windsor/Niagara). And that doesn't include the relatively small Guelph and Brantford CMAs. There's...

    TTC Cartography, Signage, and Wayfinding

Living in Toronto perhaps. But the number of times I had to transfer from a train to a bus in Toronto, I wish the walk had been shorter and better signed. (invariably a subway with baggage).

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Or look at my original post - that I fixed ... yesterday.

    TTC Cartography, Signage, and Wayfinding

I'm not sure how they'd fit. Even the strip maps for the lines other than 2 seems like overkill. I'm also not sure the point, with the maps on the train walls being the best place for these - the ones that include the streetcar lines. Montreal didn't used to have any maps over the doors. Did...
