Don’t worry he has many homes, so he won’t be homeless, lol!

A notice to purchasers a few weeks ago says that completion is anticipated for September of 2025.

It’s like a vaguely PoMo appendage to the building next door. It’s weird, but like others, I’m oddly intrigued about it. I don’t really like it but I don’t really hate it either.

I didn’t realize how shallow the faceted panels are! There seems to be a ton of missing panels to be installed, especially at the corner balconies, and a lot of incorrectly installed ones as well.

It’s an excellent hardware store and longtime neighbourhood fixture here. The staff is awesome. There’s another store on the second floor which sells the best selection of safety shoes in the city. I bought pair of steel-toed Blundstones last year there.

That railing is unfortunate. Portland is a street used by a lot of pedestrians getting to and from Queen Street, the language school nextdoor, and the nearby Loblaws/Winners. I understand there is a grade difference or change at that laneway but the sidewalk could easily be sloped to accommodate...

PDIs are starting this week and the interim occupancy is starting the first week of May. Much of the common elements are still unfinished. From what I heard, the reason why work has been going on at such a snail’s pace is because of all of the cost overruns the builder had to hire a relatively...

Omg, that photo almost gave me an instant heart attack! For a moment I thought that awful minty green spandrel privacy fence on the top of that penthouse terrace was part of the building!😳🤣

    KING Toronto (Westbank/Allied) - Real Estate -

The vegetation is an integral of the building design and will be built. Unlike some of the many residential towers that feature landscaped balcony and terraces, which many have failed or have maintenance issues, the design team on this project (landscape architects, engineers, etc., along with...

Nobu Residences Toronto (Madison Group) - Real Estate -

Why would you think the builder is going to default? Madison Group is a large company with many projects going on in the gta, including a recently announced huge development on Eglinton with renowned international firm, Rafael Viñoly Architects.

Wow, a cheap knockoff of 1BE oddly perched on a 1980s generic office building. At least it doesn’t look like a grouping of diseased 1BE buildings they did in Vaughan. It’s 65-storeys too tall! It’s like they are turning St. James Park into Central Park. Checking out Arcadis’ website and it’s...

So it’s not included even if it has usable/habitable interior space, as seen on the elevations? Interesting.

So the amenity space on the 13th floor is not part of the floor count?

I used to live in the US and that wall finish, called knockdown drywall texture, is really popular there and drove me crazy whenever I see it. The corners are also rounded so that there is less labour in creating a perfect straight sharp corner. It looks like rustic stucco finish that belongs on...

Nice view, but I have no seller’s remorse at all (I had an outside corner unit on a high floor similar to yours). I bought at KING Toronto as I prefer that area more (and of course the building) and wanted lots more outdoor space rather than the tiny obscured balconies at Nobu. Are you living...

No, the hotel entrance is on the northwest corner (off the driveway) in front of the residential entrance of the west tower. I’m still shocked at how they badly they butchered the tops of the towers. It looks like they simply gave up and slapped on whatever they can get. And this is the most...

There are lots of condos in the city that have exposed concrete ceilings. I actually like them if they are done right, but look absolutely horrible if improperly finished. I live in a soft loft and the concrete ceilings complete the modern industrial aesthetics. I had to brush on a layer of...

The purple mech-PH lights at Luna does look good (as seen in 3dementia’s photo) as it highlights selected glazing panels creating an interesting pattern on the glazed facade. I don’t mind seeing the mechanical equipment as long as it looks cool and it’s kept in a good and tidy state. I remember...
