This is super exciting, great to see Westbank doing another project in the city. Mirvish Village, 19 Duncan, KING Toronto, Shangri-La and now this - good track record of projects which I hope continues here.
honestly I think this building looks pretty good... (on the Toronto bell curve)... The zig-zag balconies add some visual interest, that colour of spandrel is relatively inoffensive, and I really like the brick and materials on the podium...
It seems like a huge wasted opportunity to only have 16 storeys right beside the Leaside LRT stop. Are there any engineering reasons why they can't go higher? Like is it sitting on top of the LRT tunnel and it can't support more height? Or is it just the zoning/ NIMBYism etc.
