Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

How exactly do you guys want ppl to enter downtown? Removing the Gardner won't displace the cars, they'll still have to be a way/place where all those cars go. Removing that lakeshore ramp just made lakeshore more congested

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I did see an LRT testing at night by Warden and Eglinton. The Grey absolutely makes it feel/look like a subway car.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Question, is there a specific method of building tunnels and stations, like can they begin construction of the stations before the tunnel has even past, or is tunnel first then stations ? Have these guys learned anything from Eglinton to make the On-line easier n faster?? Ino they're building...

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Is that a reasonable amount of time to complete that? 5 weeks to relocate utilities downtown Toronto, that sounds like wishful thinking no? Or am I not giving them enough credit to complete ontime ?

    Transit Fantasy Maps

If the Sheppard line gets extended east & west If Josh matlow version EELRT gets built OL finished then extended north to Don Mills EEW completed That would satisfy what I would consider good coverage of the TTC network in Toronto. The west end of the city should have a north south transit...

Don't elevators induce safety concerns that escalators solve, such as open airness and not being confined to small spaces, or an I being too liberal here.

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

If I'm at Markham n Sheppard and I wanna go to Yonge n Sheppard, with the new EELRT built that takes me McCowan n Sheppard, then I transfer to the Sheppard line & go to Yonge n Sheppard. With your iteration, I'm taking the EELRT to McCowan n Sheppard, transferring to take 1 stop south to STC...

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

If you're coming from the west then STC is likely your end destination, where a 1 stop transfer isn't a big deal. IF you're coming from anywhere east of McCowan, most of the trips will be going into North York, where multiple transfers defeats the purpose

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Outside of the Ontario line and I guess the SSE, this should be main priority. I don't know how the Yonge North got extended before Sheppard, but I guess the numbers justify it. From a network perspective, this makes too much sense

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

Uber isn't an economic option for most TTC riders I'm going to assume, also the reliability & service with the LRT should be surperior to busses along that corridor, especially at night

Ohhhhh okok thanks for the answer. Those last few sentences painted the picture actually

    Transit Fantasy Maps

May I ask where exactly was it located before they developed over it.? Around what year were there tracks ? Any remaining track anywhere?

    Eglinton East LRT | Metrolinx

This would cover so much of Scarborough with reliable fast rapid transit. I live around Kingston n Morningside, work downtown, and like to play bingo in the evenings at warden n Eglinton after work. I'd be able to make those 4 trips daily and be in a LRT or Train for like 95% of trip. Just...

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

He has my vote as a Scarborough resident. He won't win but these are the transit investments that Scarborough needs. Something anything east of McCowan

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

Reece mentioned diverting back to Sheppard from STC if were to continue eastward, and yeah I guess that does solve my complaint. My real complaint is that McCowan getting 3 subway stations Lawrence n McCowan/STC at (Ellesmere n McCowan roughly)/Sheppard & McCowan is way overkill when it's...

Sheppard Line 4 Subway Extension (Proposed)

What doesn't make sense to me is terminating it at STC. Terminating it at Sheppard n McCowan makes the entire line available to continue eastward to Markham or possibly even Morningside and actually impacting Scarborough transit needs

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Really? What a stupid thing to do, there's so much places in the city that can be redeveloped. Heck why not condo's down by Ontario place, although I agree that should be public land as well. Flippin greedy conservatives

What's the backstory with these jokes? Is Ontario planning on moving the science center for real?

RapidTO: Citywide Streetcar Priority (City of Toronto, TTC)

Well when you're in Malvern you're definitely gonna need a car when it's 30-45minutes to the nearest transit station. STC, if you're heading north west from Malvern it's not unitil Agincourt or don Mills before a transit station. I'm not familiar with rexdale, is that a transit desert as well?
