    Toronto 690 Coxwell Avenue | ?m | 6s | Woodgreen | LGA Architectural

The parkette could use a revamp. It's lacking... something. Anything, really.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Eglinton—Lawrence PC MPP Robin Martin announced she's not running for re-election. The Liberals finished a close second in the riding in 2022, and have nominated ex-Paul Martin/John Tory staffer Vince Gasparro as their candidate for the next election.

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

You haven't talked to my dad in North York or relatives in Aurora, Markham and London!

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

Ford will start going after streetcars and at-grade LRT lines.

    Toronto 1025 The Queensway | 149.6m | 46s | Talisker | WZMH

I would definitely support a BRT on Queensway or Royal York. Hell, given the amount of development, an LRT could be in order, too.

    Toronto Toronto Coach Terminal Redevelopment | ?m | 41s | Kilmer + Tricon | Studio Gang + a—A

If the maximum height is 50 metres, is the site even economically viable for development? Are we looking at an annual Spirit Halloween shop?

    Toronto McCleary District | ?m | ?s | CreateTO | DTAH

How does the density for McCleary compare to Villiers?

    Toronto The Manderley Condominiums | 34m | 12s | Nova Ridge | Arcadis

Well said. I think it's a great project that will add a lot to the strip.

    Toronto McCleary District | ?m | ?s | CreateTO | DTAH

Like Villiers Island, @AlexBozikovic gives the thumbs down to the McCleary District plan. On the waterfront, Toronto fumbles its plans for another new neighbourhood https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/toronto/article-on-the-waterfront-toronto-fumbles-its-plans-for-another-new/?login=true...

    Zoning Reform Ideas

Whoops. I meant Burlington in my first sentence! Your point taken.

    Toronto 43 Junction | 117.5m | 35s | Diamond Corp | Core Architects

Overall, I'm supportive of the proposal. Solid density, new affordable housing and a much better use of the site than a big box gym. Having said that, I hope future residents brace for the brutal traffic congestion at Keele and Dundas during rush hour, and I don't use the word brutal loosely.

    Zoning Reform Ideas

Brampton, like Oakville, have been significantly pushing for development in their "new downtowns" next to their GO Stations, while quashing high-rise development in their older downtown areas, although Burlington has seen some exceptions.

Las Vegas North-Plans For Niagara Falls

This could just be election posturing. The Ontario PCs are looking to pick up three Niagara Region seats currently held by the NDP.

    Toronto 477 Mount Pleasant Road | 47.3m | 12s | The Muzzo Group | Rafael + Bigauskas

While we've lost more iconic modern buildings, this one still hurts. A shame it can't at the very least be integrated into a new development.

Any Canadian-owned chains of coffee shops?

P.A.M.'s Coffee and Tea had many locations in Toronto in the 90s, including storefront locations in The Beaches and Danforth. The last Toronto location appears to have been Albion Mall (now closed), and there was a Hamilton location until around 2013 according to their defunct Facebook page.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

There's been a trend of thousands of Swifties who can't attend the concerts, or attending the concert on another date, to congregate outside the venues. https://www.bbc.com/news/videos/c6ppyq80vp5o

    Restaurant Comings & Goings

$30 is madness for anything served on a tray.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

LOL. My bet is that we're going to see traffic congestion at an unprecedented level. Swifties don't strike me as the type of people who use public transit.
