To be clear, I said I can navigate the 400 series at 130 comfortably. I usually don't. And I don't weave in and out of traffic willy nilly. I drive to the current weather and traffic conditions. I just find that the hwys can become unnecessarily congested when slow movers hold up the left lane...

2 things: 1) I drive every kilometre of the 400 series within the GTA, and also the DVP, Gardiner and QEW, every so often and I can do 130 over every bit of main freeway laneage if I so desire, congestion and weather permitting. Except portions of the DVP & Gardiner. It "can" be done, but...

Hmmm... I'm not sure if this is the place to pose this question again, but it is related so.. Even with a pushed back opening date to Spring 2023 for the ECT, the station and connection at Caledonia and the Barrie Go line doesn't seem as though it will be ready for service/use on day 1. Please...

Further to this, GO already runs hourly throughout the weekdays (minus counter-peak), and it's not quite clear why the same (or similar, something as far as Mount Pleasant, say) couldn't happen on the weekends and especially holidays as well...

And can I ask why still no weekend/holiday train service on the Kitchener line at least as far as Mount Pleasant? With maybe a few trains extended to Kitchener? It would seem that should be theoretically possible now..

Granted, but seeing as how UPX trains already pass through some of these areas, shouldn't an hourly train schedule be able to pass without too much trouble? And with CN as well? In the case of Guelph, there would possibly be only a couple of trains passing to/from Kitchener. I was thinking more...

I do apologize for changing the subject, but now that the 401/409 tunnels are finished, could we see weekend Kitchener Line train service? Maybe in September? As I recall, there was something about not running weekends to allow tunnel work to proceed unimpeded..
