    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

They should have put in one of those airport style people movers! But I reckon it would take 3 years to commission.

I thought they did a reasonable construction job with the Kipling Transit Hub. But there was no rail involved there so...🤷‍♂️

If you squint you can see it! From Tommy Thompson Park way out in the lake. Astonishing that this a cropped iPhone photo really.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I think the entire line is now down to pretty much fences at the entrance doors. Construction is by all accounts complete. I'm not up on Eglinton much, but have they brought down the covers at the connecting stations yet to finish the transitions? In other words, can you see into the new...

    Toronto Ontario Line: Exhibition Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

I was down there on Thursday and the pedestrian bridge entrance on the south side was blocked with fences and black covers for lack of a better description. Looks close though.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Just to add to the perceived confusion Crosstown is listed as a Rapid Transit LRT project but the Crosstown West Extension is listed as a Subway project on Metrolink's website. It is of course, completely grade separated as an individual project in and of itself. Does it matter what power train...

Been in the city quite a bit lately, you can spot this thing from everywhere (I guess I know what I am looking at though). UofT looking NE ish.

Not sure where to put this but took pic of the Via Rail Yard looking downtown. It was such a beautiful day today.

I noticed, yesterday, what appears to be some of the fire suppression system is being installed on the first couple of floors

    Toronto Bike Share

I've been using the system more, the app is a nice upgrade seems to work well. Admittedly I've been using the E-Bikes as a priority cause if i come west of the city there's enough elevation to tucker me out otherwise. I must say that if you avoid the main roads it's a pleasurable experience...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Thanks for the great summary on here. I thought this was a much more positive presentation than we have seen in recent times. I think, I hope, that the TTC is taking what appears to be a very positive approach to this will really boost the progress through. Enthusiasm is infectious. I note...

Yes, the power supply connection would have allowed the ventilation system to begin testing, I think they talked about this at that September meeting or at least the previous Metrolinx meeting. IIRC They said that they had reached an important milestone. They then talked about the ventilation...

Great catch Northern Light, I'm trying figure out what "portal doors" are. Possibly the underground entries to the Eglinton station from say the Yonge Eglinton Centre. I've worked with Toronto Hydro in the past, they are quick once they get out there. This report is post dated at 7th December...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Not sure but I think they talked about that foundation issue at the last meeting and it was resolved, for a while actually. A bit to my surprise because Metrolinx held on to it for a while. I think they are adopting a very strict handover position where the history of performance has reduced...

    Toronto 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

I would have to agree about the "jumbotrons". I really like this building, it's spectacular to me, but these have certainly put a damper on it. Surely green lights are enough. They could have designed it in such a way as to plot out the logo in the lighting from time to time. I'll bet the...

    Toronto The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

I visited yesterday with my partner, I thought it was cool and refreshing to see such a thing open in Toronto. Sure it's not close to being ready but a breath of fresh air to walk through a car free, open air environment with nice finishes and lighting. Clearly, this will become more appealing...
