If they would’ve used more stone and less spandrel/mullions, this building would’ve given a NYC Art deco vibe.

    Toronto 225 Queen East | 146.65m | 45s | Dash Developments | Arcadis

I suspect this whole part of queen street/moss park subway station will be the new ground zero for densification and development. I can already see every small building being redeveloped into this type of project, restored heritage base and condo tower on top.

    Toronto Artists' Alley | 121.91m | 39s | Lanterra | Hariri Pontarini

I just Wish the tower was taller or less hidden so it was more prominent in the skyline.

    Toronto 83 Bloor West | 269.05m | 82s | Parallax | Arcadis

Considering the location and height you'd expect higher quality architecture. this looks like a church st condo.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

does anyone know what’s the cladding plan for the mechanical levels? Some renderings show it as champagne colour and in others it looks black. I would assume it’ll be like the fluted metal cladding seen by the lobby and that mechanical level facing yonge street.

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 344.9m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I wouldn’t be shocked if this tops out before The One.

I think this is probably one of the best aspects of the project. it makes the existing design more honest, and perfectly represents the ROM’s plan to “open up” “Steel girders that hold up the extraordinary Libeskind structure and which are currently hidden within walls will also be featured...

Toronto George Brown College: Limberlost Place | 52.5m | 10s | George Brown | Moriyama Teshima Architects

It’s so refreshing to see colour. Let’s manifest a new wave of buildings with colour all over the city

Will there be extra lighting? Im glad they’re restoring the ceiling finally, but this still looks too dark and moody to me.

Toronto Cherry House at Canary Landing | 50.32m | 13s | Dream | COBE Architects

I like how this whole area is taking inspiration from the Distillery district character and creating its own identity and character that’s becoming more consistent.

    Toronto U of T: Landscape of Landmark Quality | ?m | 1s | U of T | MVVA

Toronto Oak House at Canary Landing | 162.61m | 46s | Dream | Henning Larsen

it’s so refreshing to see projects that aren't the same all grey/blue/green glass tower. I wish we had a brick tower era. Give me at least 5 years with red brick as the hot material in new condo towers.

    Toronto Crosstown LRT: Eglinton Station | ?m | 1s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Opened great, but zero landscaping. Wide concrete sidewalk after more than a decade and this is what the sidewalk is gonna look like? Depressing. Looks like a sidewalk in mississauga

    Toronto Theatre Park | 156.96m | 47s | Lamb Dev Corp | a—A

it’s so unfortunate considering the location and building. It had so much potential to offer a beautiful restaurant/bar patio to animate the street.
