    Toronto Ontario Line | ?m | ?s

If overhead power is more expensive and less reliable than why is most of Europeans commuter/high speed rail systems using it? Also, why does it matter that it's uglier? The Ontario Line is half underground/tunneled where you won't even see it and the above ground portions will be in their own...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I have a feeling it will be replaced entirely, as I've seen brand new supports & signals on the Milton corridor.

    Toronto Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

My girlfriend saw the leaves in 5 seconds but I did ask her "what do you see in these buildings?"

Post your pictures of Toronto here!

This one is certainly better. You would hardly see the eastbound train unless you were on the other side of the bridge. Going lower would help but it's still better to capture a train running on your side.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Here's another photo dump for Exhibition GO now that the new platform is open. There's clearly nothing more exciting being constructed in my area right now 😂 Starting with the West end of the Eastbound Platform (#1) showing the removed section of the old Westbound tracks. End of Westbound...

And now the rest of the batch You can see how much further East the new platform goes to. The waiting newly built waiting areas on the south side indicates Platform 1 will also be shifting. Alre Already some of the old tracks for platform 4 have been removed.

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Went by Exhibition GO again today to see how things are coming along on the relocated track/platform 1. I didn't realize this before but the section at the bottom and West of Atlantic Ave will not have a platform any longer, due to it shifting east 2-300 metres (my best guess). I can't recall...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Work is coming along nice for the new track and platform at Exhibition Station this weekend. Not a trace of the ticket building any longer. You can only really see the old platform from Platform 2(Westbound tracks) No onto the new platform/tracks. All the track seems to be installed. All...

    Toronto Ontario Line: Exhibition Station | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | HDR

The work did emphasize that 1 week is what they claim to be what's happening, meaning he has some doubts, but I don't think it's impossible. Lots of track replacement is done over weekend closures, which means it doesn't need anything close to 3 weeks of testing. In the last photo I posted you...

    TTC: Streetcar Network

They could at least upgrade them when the time comes for replacement.
