The colours from the initial renderings were never meant to be taken seriously. They were nothing more than a placeholder for public art. I attended a pre-application meeting for this project and they were quick to mention that the colours would be replaced by whatever ended up being selected...

You’re interpreting things incorrectly. There is no height increase, nor has there even been talk of a height increase. If height were increasing, there would be an application to do so, and it would be refused because of shadowing like others have mentioned. All of this would be public info...
