Yeah, people are going to think the sky is falling. It's such a relief to see that this plaza may be finally redeveloped at some point, it's such an eyesore and a negative presence to what's one of the oldest areas of Mississauga.
Perhaps it's like those artworks where you have to view them at certain angles to get the picture, like the ones on the Bayview subway line, or some of the newer Spadina line stations.
I need to see this in person sometime...this reminds me of cheaper, older panelized cladding used on rental housing from 50 years ago. Maybe it won't be the worst in terms of....colour variety in this block?

Don't remind me! I keep gazing at that empty plaza with mixed feelings on what's coming to that site. Either way, I hope this doesn't start until at least one of these current projects is done on Broadway. I can't believe we already have 8 towers being built there.
Looking good! I look forward to visiting this area in a year or two around golden hour when this project is completed, and the Well can add as context. :)
