From June 2nd to the 25th I'll be in Hungary. I should be able to provide a somewhat local perspective on this. As long as it doesn't go sideways I'll fly out of Hungary on June 25th. If it does I'm stuck there.

The same amount of time that Bettman has been commissioner. Coincidence? I think not.

You cannot use any ride sharing app without putting in the address now. The app will give you an approximate price when you book your ride. Uber is not so bad if you get the right driver. I have got some that were very friendly while I have others who were focused on the job as if it was all...

Neither does GO if you use any of the weekend or GO/WEGO passes. Found that out this weekend.

GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

It makes no sense to run an LRT in Niagara Falls for 4 months out of the year. From late September to early May there are not many tourists and even then only on weekends. It would be overkill.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

It is a no-win situation for Ford. If he backtracks he runs the risk of pissing off a large swath of the 905 (not to mention denting his credibility) where he currently holds seats. However, if he does not backtrack it plays into Bonnie Crombie's hands and makes her look like the champion here...

Honestly, food delivery couriers are the worst. Every morning I see at least 3 of them crowd onto the subway during the morning rush hour with their e-bikes and bags. The bags are massive and the bikes are not small either. There really needs to be enforcement.

    I am thinking a hyperloop.

When there are no crush loaded GO trains involved you can get away with buses. The Green Line goes to the Train Station from Table Rock Point and works just well. Having LRT's run anywhere near the falls is asking for problems with all the crowds.

When I took the train on Saturday morning the GO staff were directing persons with strollers to dedicated cars where they could store their strollers on the lower level. Think of it like a bike car for strollers.

Yes but it is still approximately 2 hours and 41 minutes each way. In a perfect world that has the train arriving at 140 am. If there is a delay for whatever reason it will leave some people stranded.

Plus others with dedicated stroller storage. Mind you though I have seen some overly packed cars in the past, it usually involves people standing or sitting on the stairs/

I am surprised that they chose to run a train so late. If the train arrives late at Union there is no way to get home from there. Yesterday for example there was a door problem leaving Union in the morning and a bridge problem leaving Niagara Falls in the evening. l ended up arriving at Union...

    Toronto Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s

It's Doors Open not Open Doors. Semantics aside they are all still considered construction sites and likely not safe for public use. If they were safe enough for public use the line would open rather imminently.

Durham may be next. Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax and Pickering are large enough to stand alone

That is why they need 4 round trips daily. 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

They are likely running out of equipment. I would not be surprised to see T-35's out there soon.
