Six years? Christ, I really lost track of time there. But thank you! I saw this project scroll by on Twitter, and realized there was really only one place where I was going to get an informed opinion about it, so here I am. (Plus, not long ago I had my first opportunity in many moons to spend...

There is a lot to like here, especially the inset red-brick arches, which recall a certain Esplanade splendour of the 80s. As ever though I find the stuffing and mounting of heritage facades to be distasteful. Have the courage to knock them down, or ship them off to the Facade District where...

A showroom full of ridiculous cars is kind of the opposite of gravitas, isn't it?

Forgive me if I asked this before, but is anything going to happen to the nasty, nasty Via concourse?

Typically, Critique, a critique involves elements of critique. As opposed to, say, "I don't like it."

This thing is less out-and-out bizarre than it was in its original incarnation, but now it's just... incoherent and weird. What's going on with the stepped tower? What is that? A ship's funnel? There is something hellish about the scale of these things, couples with their isolation from the...

I was amazed at how solidly it was built, for a temporary stairway - rebar and everything. It made me wonder if it was really permanent or not. (Assuming we're talking about the same stairs - from the subway station into the old GO concourse.)

Stick around for a bit, pstogios, and you'll get a sense of why he's worth listening to.

PATH Network Expansion (various, various, various)

I could be entirely wrong about this, but in addition from the Y/B-complex that runs from Yonge Station to Bay Station, there's a connection to the exit at the west end of Bay Station - you can only access it by paying a fare and walking the platform. Still, I *think* some buildings on the north...

PATH Network Expansion (various, various, various)

It would be fun to take WislaHD's base map and use it to create a full catalogue of the semi-disjointed PATH networks in the core. (Not just Yonge/Bloor, but the ones hanging off Bay, too.) Do I read Wikipedia correctly that the PATH is only 3 km shy of overtaking Montreal's RESO as the largest...

Anecdotally, I fly Porter at least twice a month to places as different as New York City and Sault Ste. Marie. Been a while since I've been on one that wasn't packed full.

You know what a great accessory for a new streetcar barn would be? Streetcars.
