    Toronto Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto | CCxA

The suspended heart was one of my favourite aspects of the project tbh. It's already called Love Park with a giant red heart pond in the middle... so I don't think anyone is worried about it being too on-the-nose.

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Is anyone aware of any top down views of the former and now current seating layout? As a non-avid baseball fan but a big big skydome fan, I want to be able to compare/overlay both to see the difference between the two because it's hard to discern tbh.

    Hamilton Centurion | ?m | 9s | Effort Group | DPAI

Dpai really dropped the ball on this one, especially given their relatively good reputation in the city for quality architecture. I wonder what happened behind the scenes.

Toronto St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Are these markets connected under Front St via the basement stall area?
  5. Hamiltonian

    Toronto 543 Richmond Street West | 47.24m | 15s | Pemberton | BDP Quadrangle

The yellow/beige brick seems so dated to me now. It's like a throwback to the beginning of condo-boom era!

Toronto New Park at 229 Richmond West | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto | Gow Hastings

As a landscape architect, I'm not sure how they expect the tiny patches of grass to hold up any better than muddy patches of dirt.

    Toronto 88 Queen | 167.35m | 52s | St Thomas Dev | Hariri Pontarini

There's a lot more depth to the minty facade than I expected as shown in the photos above. Definitely more palatable.

    Toronto Artists' Alley | 121.91m | 39s | Lanterra | Hariri Pontarini

Lots to like about this project save for the really bleak streetwall along St. Patrick street. Anyone else agree?

Nations definitely is a "real grocer"... A well-rounded grocery store perfectly suited to get your staples. I often drive there to do grocery shopping.

    Toronto One Delisle | 155m | 44s | Slate | Studio Gang

I totally agree. I think the loss of the crown becoming gradually smaller in diameter and it’s subtleness makes a bigger-than-expected impact.

    Toronto Waterworks Building Redevelopment | 47.55m | 13s | MOD Developments | Diamond Schmitt

This is sooo minor and maybe not worth mentioning by why is one side of the signage flipped with the water spout facing the building 😩

Scotiabank Arena (Air Canada Centre) Renovations

CIBC and Renault too… we love to copy 😩

    Toronto 45 The Esplanade | 128.85m | 39s | Republic | Arcadis

I like the curved parapet. Everything else is a no for me.

Union station great hall revitalization punching the air rn.

Lesser recognized buildings in Toronto that you enjoy

I love these dutch gable semi-detached homes on Sullivan Street near the AGO. I always make an effort to walk by them when I'm walking through the area.
