There are a few sites that have come onto the market. Sales are down, costs are up, and some builders (maybe many) are nervous.
I like this project because I like the area and I think it fits in.
Yeah, Metrolinx is acting like I would expect a gov't body under the current gov't to act like. Horrible and shocking. Ppl have been treated really bad. I understand infrastructure is important, but that doesn't give the gov't any excuse or right to simply strong arm average ppl.

Toronto is growing very very fast and will continue to do so for years. One major international airport, located in one part of the greater city, is not going to cut it moving into the future. To be a world class city, you need A LOT of infrastructure. And it's good to be pre-emptive not...
New precedents have to be set. Toronto is a very big city and it's going to continue to grow. The idea of 2.5 GFA on properties so close to a subway line is absolutely ridiculous.
Toronto is on pace to hit 10 million quicker than many people think. We have to build and a lot.
Thank you. I thought I had read 2024, but 2026 makes sense.
The last time they resurfaced Pape Ave (a few years ago) it was an absolute mess and took way longer than it should have. I can only imagine what's going to happen when they start the Ontario. But the sooner they start, the better.
I really want to apologize if it has already been posted, but does anyone have a link to a timeline of when each station is projected to start work? Thank you. I am particularly interested in when construction of the new Pape Station is projected to commence.
Any large parcel along Danforth has been east and pretty far from Pape. From Pape to Broadview there is no development I can think of over the last decade or so, other than say Minto. The only possible way a developer can assemble land from Eaton to Broadview is if density is increased, and...
The idea of 6-8 storey buildings along Danforth isn't realistic.
There is no way to justify a subway (future Pape Station) that will travel in four directions (including downtown quickly) having buildings of 6 storeys around it. Toronto is not Omaha, intensification and tall buildings are...
