I think it has more to do with the height of them more then being able to be removed although was a factor in the design of them. Putting in a permanent foul pole the height it would be needed in the Rogers centre would be a massive undertaking and would probably need it's own footing.
I get that but its' about as likely as them naming it SkyDome again. I highly doubt that Rogers wants to rename the stadium again just because a few people on a discussion board want them to. Also Wrigley Field doesn't often host other events as much as Rogers Centre does so calling it Rogers...
I'm well aware of that but several of them were after i had already my initial response. Also the endless posts about saying that people call it Skydome and they should change the name back to it, many people have pointed out that Rogers specifically didn't add the word Skydome to the name...
nope the ppel who isnsit on calling it SKydiome do it's the Rofgers Center no matyer waht youi want to call it so why not switch. I don't relly seea reason to hold on to the name of anyomre.
