    Soundproofing condo window assembly

I wonder if anyone has any insight on the feasibility of sound proofing the inner window assembly of a new high rise Toronto condominium unit. I’m not looking to add any new sound barriers layers to the interior or exterior surface, but considering to have the interior framing removed, and the...

    Toronto Novus at Garrison Point | 119.17m | 34s | BentallGreenOak | Hariri Pontarini

There is a great opportunity for a smaller grocery market like Rabba on the main retail level which would serve the community well. The area is already well served by 4 huge grocery stores within a 5 or 6 minute walk. Metro, City Market, Farm Boy, Loblaws.

Meh. They still all made money. No one to feel sorry for!

I hope not. There is enough grocery in the area already. I’d like to see a small market like a Rabba and then some other stores and restaurants instead. Will see.

Toronto Liberty Central by the Lake | ?m | 27s | CanAlfa | IBI Group

Is this the longest and slowest development in Liberty Village? Phase 2 is still not done and the new rental tower coming up beside it is gaining on it. Zen condos went up for sale well after Liberty 2 had completely sold out. Zen hit the ground and is now well into occupancy while Liberty 2...

Condo Windows (interior side) and Tarion Warranty

Is my understanding correct that scratches on the interior side of windows are covered under homeowner Tarion warranty rather than under the warranty for common elements. A builder is telling me that scratches on the inside of the condominium window in the unit are not covered under PDI and...

Yes, they should and hopefully will open the west side of the park between the cycle path and Ordnance. It would be a shame to keep this section closed for 8 years on the account of the subway to be built... especially since it will be several years, realistically, before this space is needed...

There is a floor 13. This means your unit might be one floor higher than you thought it was ;)

Tower 1 is not going to be a park. It's owned by a developer, and I can't see any incentive for them to create a park in such a lucrative area. I prefer the density and associated retail it brings to the area.

They’ve been doing a lot of work on the pool and BBQ area like Planting trees and getting the BBQs all setup. As for ETA, I have no idea. I assume sometime after phase 2 occupancy - maybe spring/summer 2021 based onprevious experience with condo developments.

The existing building reminds me of a Latin American central market. It should be preserved, and I am pretty sure it's internal space could be used very well and very profitably. Oh well.
