All the UrbanToronto droners bought their's today. Get on board!
The fingers are willing but the credit card is weak :(

LOL, I must be the odd one out! I only have 8-9 cycles on my Mini 4 Pro batteries! Give me a few years!

Just got mine! @TwinHuey how about you?

@hawc, you weren't kidding when you said all the UT droners ordered one! I hope the DJI quality control improved since the Mini3pro. I had to go through three frames before I found one without any bad habits or camera problems. @TwinHuey Have you had yours in the sky yet?

Antonov 124 went for a walk today. I don't know if it was moved since it was sitting in what is normally the snow dump area or what. Seems to be in the infield area now but I can't imagine it remaining there.

The eagle has landed... :)

I got one too! I got the Fly More Plus bundle, so I actually have to apply for a certificate (regardless of the weight uncertainty). First impressions is that this thing is incredible compared to my Phantom 4, which has a 1/2.3" sensor; less than half the size of this one in a much bigger and bulkier package. This things is so easy to carry, launch, use, and the tech is amazing. I tried the smart return to home and was blown away at how well it works! I can't wait to try the low light performance. My Phantom 4 was essentially blind at night. Looking at some of the photos and videos taken with the Mini 5 at night blows my mind.

Excellent choice...you're going to love flying the Mini 5 Pro!

Also, an FYI, the Transport Canada Drone Portal has been out of service since September 10 which meant I couldn't register mine for flights with the Plus battery (I have both the Plus and the 249g).

But you're in luck - it just came back on line a few hours ago.

Geez, did everyone except me and @JJTheJetPln order this thing the day it came out? How the heck is everyone so flush with cash? I'm still rummaging through the sofa cushions looking for coffee money!

#UTOnlyFans?

Edit to add: I love all the posts the UT drone operators post. It's amazing to see how seemingly accessible drone tech has become

Listen, I will gladly buy you a coffee, I just CAN'T afford a Mini 5 Pro since I dropped most of the money into kitchen renos!

Not that this affects me as I can only wistfully look at all the Mini5 posts and photos but I'm glad to see TC has some common sense and will classify the Mini5pro as a microdrone despite busting through the weight limit

This is wonderful, especially considering the majority of people who fly these drones are trying their best to be as responsible and not breach the Aeronautics Act or anything else for that matter.
