The Finch West Light Rail Transit (LRT) Project will extend 11 kilometres from the existing Finch West Subway at Finch Avenue West and Keele Street to the Humber College at Finch Avenue West and Highway 27. It will serve the communities of Rexdale, Jane-Finch and

Black Creek.

A maintenance and storage facility is one component of the overall Finch West LRT project. It will be used to store the light rail vehicles (LRVs) and provide shops for service, repairs and inspection.

MSF AT A GLANCE

• Located at 50 York Gate Boulevard, on the north west side of Finch Avenue West, west of Jane Street

• A 10,000 sq. metre facility with capacity for 26 LRVs

• Includes a main shop, car wash facility, material storage building, administration office and 122 parking spots

• Tracks running in both directions for LRV access (eastbound and westbound)

• Being designed and constructed to meet LEED Silver Certification and with a green roof
