Grand Central Mimico, designed by Kohn Partnership Architects Inc for Vandyk Properties

Grand Central Mimico is a master-planned community located in the 55-acre priority Regeneration Area of the Mimico Triangle. Grand Central Mimico is the first signed, binding agreement between Metrolinx and a private developer, Vandyk Properties. As Toronto's true transit-oriented developed, this master-planned 9 proposed tower community is compromised of over 2 million sq. ft of mixed used development, planning 4 city blocks and anchored by over 1.85 million sq. ft of residential living space. The first phase of Grand Central Mimico is The Buckingham, a 3-tower, 751 unit condominium, featuring approximately 20,000 sq. ft of retail space, to be anchored by an urban grocery store and restaurants; and approximately 30,000 sq. ft of office space. The Buckingham launched sales in late March 2021, which is now almost completely sold through.
