SmartCentres and Greenwin Corp. have been working collaboratively with the City of Barrie to establish a vision to enhance a portion of land along the Barrie waterfront within the Urban Growth Centre of the City.

The proposal includes a new mixed-use development facing the lakeshore and the more commercial Bradford Street. This development will intensify and transform the area into an accessible, highly connected and pedestrian-friendly environment that will both preserve and enhance the valuable natural elements of the area, including Bunker's Creek and Lakeshore Drive.
